Donald Frans

Mr. Donald Wayne Frans, 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born October 2, 1936 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, the son of the late Mr. Whit Claude Frans and the late Mrs. Ruth Mae Kennedy Frans. He was a member of West Metro Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Frans Hibler; and sister, Sue Frans Ingram. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Godfrey Frans of Douglasville; two sons, Wayne Frans and Billy Frans both of Dallas, TX; step-daughter, Debbie Russ Shirah of Douglasville; step-son, David Russ of Kennesaw; two brothers, Whit Frans of Arizona and Doug Frans of Marked Tree, Arkansas; Shirley Morris of Douglasville; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Glenn Rountree officiating.
