Donald Gover

Mr. Donald Eugene “Gene” Gover, 62, of Temple, passed away, Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was born April 12, 1952 in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Mr. Hubert Franklin Gover and the late Mrs. Sarah Nichols. He worked in construction for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Dianne Gover; brother, Hubert Lamar Gover; sisters, Lisa Gaye Nalley, Teresa Gover. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Mason Gover of Temple; daughters and son-in-law, Sarah Gover of Newnan, Shellie and Jeff Thompson of Temple, Brandi Reece of Gwinnett County, Jeannie Gover Waldrop of Carrollton; Sherry Gover Shadrix of Carrollton; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Eugene and Megan Gover, Jr. of Temple, David Lee and Amy Gover of Temple; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Bill Holt of Villa Rica, June Aslpach of Cumming, Judy Brault of Merriweather, Debra Faye McGaha of Douglasville, Shelia Gayle Orner of Dacula, Jan Packer of Cedartown, Linda Ray of Powder Springs; brothers and sister-in-law, Lonnie Joe Nalley of Hapeville, Dale Ray and Drema Nichols of Villa Rica, Joe Hamrick of Temple and Johnny Gover of Lawrenceville; twenty grandchildren, Justin Evans, Lacey Thompson, Kayla Thompson, Candace Thompson, Dillon Coots, David Wilson, Lance Waldrop, Austin Waldrop, Chloe Gover, Camisha Brown, Catlin Brown, Luke Shadrix, Payton Shadrix, Jake Beard, Rhylan Gover, Kamden Heiney, Jackson Parker, MaKenna Gover, Cody Holmes and Kristen Holmes; six great-grandchildren, Ajourney Gover, Calypso Gover, Kingslee Thompson, Zevaeh Wyatt, Ethan Johsnson and Mahaley Jones. Several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted, Monday, June 16, 2014 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Corky Addison and Rev. Tim Stephens officiating.
