Donald Vaughan

Mr. Donald Erwin Vaughan, age 82, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born April 23, 1936, the son of the late Mr. Bruce Vaughan and Mrs. Bertha Wofford Vaughan. He was a softball coach for many years and loved to restore old cars. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, JW Vaughan, Richard Hulon Vaughan, and Dickie Vaughan; sisters, Jolene Parker and Sheila Vaughan. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Charlotte Faye Watkins Vaughan; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ed Johnson of Douglasville; sons and daughter-in-law’s, Keith and Sherry Vaughan of Lawrenceville, and Ronnie and Pam Vaughan of Lithia Springs; four grandchildren, Brian Vaughan, Lisa Vaughan, Cody Johnson, and Megan Jean. The family will receive at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be conducted, Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Mozley Memorial Gardens with David Estes officiating.
