Donna Lynn McElwaney Wheeler

Donna Lynn McElwaney Wheeler, age 46, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009. She was born November 15, 1963 in Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Chester Allen McElwaney and Mrs. Mary Helen Matthews Wilson. Mrs. Wheeler worked as a caregiver in the healthcare industry. She loved all animals, stuffed or live, and especially her dogs, Rudy and Penny. Mrs. Wheeler enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. In addition to her father, Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her brother, Larry McElwaney – “Bo”. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Mrs. Mary Helen Wilson and Mr. Larry L. Wilson of Villa Rica; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Darry Allen and Sandra McElwaney of Tallapoosa and Robert Earl and Debra McElwaney of Buchanan. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews, Jeffrey McElwaney, Joseph McElwaney, John D. McElwaney and Daniel James McElwaney. Interment will follow in the Garden of Cross at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia.
