Donna Thompson

Mrs. Donna Jean McKee Thompson, age 64, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She was born October 15, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Sam McKee and the late Mrs. Edna Short McKee. She retired from Riverside Manufacturing. Mrs. Thompson enjoyed jewelry making, knitting and sewing. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William Roscoe Thompson of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and John Hart of Villa Rica and Lisa and Wayne Parker of Winston; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Barbara Thompson of Villa Rica and Joseph and Jennifer Thompson of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Francis Canady of Jonesboro, Linda and Ray Sheffield of Fairburn, and Susan and George Caldwell of Luthersville; brother and sister-in-law, Alonzo and Barbara McKee of Ballground; 5 grandchildren, Aaron Parker, Jordan Parker, Levi Parker, Zach Hart, and Maddie Hart; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, April 6, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. Jimmy Lester and Brother Earl Partain officiating.
