Mrs. Doris Adams Blair, age 84, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Douglasville Nursing and Rehab Center in Douglasville, Georgia. Mrs. Blair was born April 14, 1924 in Villa Rica, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Earl Adams and the late Mrs. Irene Williams Adams. She worked as a seamstress at Arrow Shirt Company. Mrs. Blair was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herschel Blair; her brother, James Leroy Adams; and her sisters, Yvonne Tidwell, Vera Olsen, Grace Perry and Eva Sapp. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and David Sweat and Joyce and Dennis McCullough, all of Villa Rica; her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Nancy Blair of Douglasville; her brothers, Donald E. Adams of Alpharetta and Raymond Adams of Clayton; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Mr. David Sweat and Mr. Dennis McCullough. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Seals, Aaron McCullough, Adam McCullough, Chris Davis, Kent Adams and Preston Davis. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Villa Rica with Rev. Keith Arp and Rev. Jeff Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 6:30 PM until 9:00 PM.
