Doris Jones

Mrs. Doris Adcock Jones, age 91, of Temple passed away Monday, October 01, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 3, 1920 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Wiley Lindsay Adcock and the late Mrs. Alice Emily Durrett Adcock. She loved helping at the beauty shop. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Jack Jones, Sr.; grandson, Lindsey Oscar Jones; brother, Jack Adcock and sister, Myra Adcock. She was survived by her daughter, Myra Gail Jones of Temple; son and daughter-in-law Martin Jack and Jean Jones, Jr. of Temple; sister, Agnes A. Powell of Temple; sister-in-law, Violet and Ray Newman of Austell; grandchildren, Darrell and Jennifer Jones Robinson of Temple, Linda and David Hudgins of Temple; Wallace and Kathy Deese of Temple; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Corky Addison officiating.
