Doris Osborne Robinson

Doris Kate Osborne Robinson, 90, of Dallas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1935, the daughter of the late Amos M. Osborne and the late Bertha Mae Alexander Osborne of Dallas GA.

Doris graced this life with a sweetness and kindness that touched everyone lucky enough to know her. She was a devoted wife, whose greatest joy was caring for her husband, her home, and their beloved farm. She was always a hugger, offering love and comfort in her own special way. She was a woman whose life was marked by devotion, kindness, and an enduring commitment to her family and faith. She was involved with several local Baptist Churches including Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ruben L. Robinson; siblings: Diane Osborne, Bobby Osborne, Cecil Osborne and Charles Osborne.

She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Larry) Brown; two grandchildren Mandy (Casey) Wade and Chris (Janene) Brown; three great-granddaughters Cassidy, Carson, and Kaley: two Godchildren Chuck and Kristina Downey; three God grandchildren Caden Downey and Melinda (Timothy) Marshall; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Danny Patrick; sisters-in-law Doris Osborne and LaForrest Osborne.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 14, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Cochran Ridge Baptist Church in Hiram with Rev. Danny Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Chad Hunton officiating.
