Dorothy Jean Carlisle

Mrs. Dorothy "JEAN" Carlisle, age 67 of Dallas, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was born October 19, 1953 in Shubuta, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Mr. Johnnie L. Jones and the late Mrs. Mary Britton Jones. Mrs. Carlisle loved to cook, read and go shopping. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Johnnie B. Jones, Cecil Jones, Staten Jones, J.D. Jones; sisters, Adamae Cooley, Daisy Mae Howard. Mrs. Carlisle is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Carlisle of Waynesboro, Mississippi; daughters and sons-in-laws, Tamara L. and Edward C. Young, Jr. of Dallas, Georgia, Crystal Jade Leggins of Dallas, Georgia, Annetta Jasmine and Demetrius Thomas of Dallas, Georgia; step sons, Trevor Carlisle from Kansas City, Kansas, Yamani Shontae Patton of Waynesboro, Mississippi; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Al and Diane Jones of Albany, New York, Elmer and Lucy Jones of Meridian, Mississippi; five grandchildren, James Hixon of Dallas, Georgia, Anton Hixon, Jr. of Austell, Georgia, D'Aira Hixon of Albany, Georgia, Destinee Thomas of Dallas, Georgia, Aamiyah Thomas, Dallas, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Micah Hixon, Jayvion Hixon, Zion Hixon.
