Dorothy Lynn Smith

Dorothy Lynn Smith, 76, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1946. She is the daughter of the late Oliver Henry Whitfield and the late Gladys Lucille Whitfield.

Dorothy loved her family and she enjoyed taking care of them. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. She enjoyed watching movies, camping, fishing and bird watching.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Preston Mulkey of Snellville, GA, and Patricia Anne Tart of Carrollton, GA.

She is survived by her husband, Morris Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and John Emery of Hiram, GA; son, Richmond Edward Smith of Douglasville, GA.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated.  The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
