Mr. Douglas Walter Brennan, 52, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, following an extended illness. He was born October 27, 1964 in West Palm Beach, Florida, the son of Mr. Paul Richard Brennan, Jr. and the late Mrs. Marcia Elizabeth Hervey Brennan. He married Deborah Ann McCarthy on March 20, 1987 in Madison, New Jersey. He was a veteran, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. He served in Desert Storm. He was an active member of St. Michaelâs Catholic Church in Roswell. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah Ann Brennan of Douglasville; two daughters, Kelly Brennan of Marietta and Bridget Brennan of Douglasville; three sons, Jimmy Brennan, Mike Brennan, and John Brennan all of Douglasville; his father, Paul Richard Brennan, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Margot Brennan and Kevin Keavney of Marietta; brother, Paul Brennan of Royal Palm Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Saint Michaelâs Catholic Church, 715 Hardscrabble Road, Roswell, GA 30075 with Father Christopher Danel officiating.
