Douglas Caldwell

Mr. Douglas McArthur Caldwell, 75, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at DeKalb Medical Center, due to contracting West Nile Virus from a mosquito bite. He was born March 10, 1942 in Cannelton, West Virginia the son of the late Mr. Ephrem Garmon Caldwell and the late Mrs. Enice Scott Clemons Caldwell. He married Artie Arizona “Faye” Weaver on February 11, 1961 in Fulton County, Georgia. He retired as a supervisor at Kraft/Nabisco. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye Caldwell of Lithia Springs; and son, Scott Caldwell of Douglasville; granddaughter, Melissa “Prissy” Caldwell of Wedowee, AL. A special thanks to Kelly and Jimmy Thompson for their special support and assistance during this time.According to his wishes, he was cremated.
