Douglas Fairbanks Bennett

Mr. Douglas Fairbanks Bennett, age 79 of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020. He was born March 20, 1940 in Cummings, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Sodis Bennett and the late Mrs. Frances Cleo Terry Bryant. Mr. Bennett loved his family very much and worked very hard to provide for his family. He was very active in outdoor activities, hunting and working on cars. Mr. Bennett served in the Army Reserves. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Faye. Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Cynthia Diann Worley Bennett; daughters and son-in-law, Katrina Bennett of Acworth, Georgia, Shea Bennett Pedroza and Alex Pedroza of Douglasville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Tamra Bennett of Lithia Springs, Georgia; sister, Gloria Melancon of Canton, Georgia; two grandchildren, Lyllian and Madigan; several nieces and nephews also survive. According to Mr. Bennett's wishes, he will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
