Douglas Withers

Mr. Douglas Brewer Withers, age 52, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013. He was born September 25, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of the late Mr. Richard Calvin Withers and the late Mrs. Kathleen Brewer Withers. . Mr. Withers served in the United States Air Force during Dessert Shield/Storm. He worked for Delta Airlines. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann Sawyer Withers of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Kenneth Rutledge of Dallas; son, Justin Withers of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilynn and Max Smith of Peoria, AZ, Calleen and Greg Glover of Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Withers of Escalante, Utah, Duane and Brandi Withers of Salt Lake City, Utah; one granddaughter, Sadie Rutledge. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Messages of condolences may be sent at www.jones-wynn.com.
