Emory Doyal Adair

Emory Doyal Adair, age 86, of Douglasville passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. He was born March 27, 1936 son of the late Mr. Elmer Adair and the late Mrs. Lura Elizabeth Scoggins Adair. Doyal dearly loved his wife of 56 years, and he had a special love for his entire family. Fishing was one of his favorite hobbies.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Golden Adair; son, Terry Dale Adair; brothers, Coy Adair, Troy Adair; sisters, Wilma Greene, Geraldine Lee, Ruth Carr.

He is survived by his daughters, Debra Adair of Dallas, Pamela (Jeff) Roton of Douglasville, Shelly Adair (Benny Justice) of Carrollton; sons, Randy (Denise) Adair of Douglasville, Donnie (Jennifer) Adair of Carrollton, Billy (Danielle) Adair of Villa Rica; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
