Dr. Kanshio Christopher Iye

Dr. Kanshio Christopher Iye, age 67, of Atlanta, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born March 9, 1955 in Udei, Nigeria, son of the late Mr. Bemeor Paul Iye and the late Mrs. Josephine. Dr. Iye had a passion for education and was very hard working. He was a good catholic man and was charismatic and got along with everyone.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Iye; sister, Cecilia Zever.

Dr. Iye is survived by wife, Kukighir Fidelia Iye; daughters, Doo Iye, Msendoo Tarzoor, both of Atlanta, GA; sons, Terkaa Iye, Verior Iye, Duwen Iye, Torkuma Tarzoor, Oryiman Tarzoor, all of Atlanta, GA; grandchild, Terseer; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn funeral home in Douglasville on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The funeral mass will take place at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM
