Dustin Wayne Howard

Dustin Wayne Howard, 43, of Winston, departed this world on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, after a long battle against an extended illness. He was born on June 27, 1981, the son of Ronnie and Elaine Howard.

He leaves behind a legacy of joy, friendship, and a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of many. He was a class of 2000 graduate of Alexander High School. Dustin lived his life with passion.

Dustin was a devoted member at Highview Church, where he cherished his role in the praise team band. His was a talented drummer and he played in several bands such as The Shadow Box Band, Sixth Hour Band, and Uberstout Band. He had an exceptional ability to play a wide range of musical styles.

He was a true sports enthusiast who loved UGA football and the Atlanta Braves. Dustin will be remembered as a compassionate and kind spirit. Dustin remained a fierce fighter, even in the face of challenges; he displayed resilience and bravery, traits that defined him as a true warrior. His deep love for life and family serves as a testament to the incredible individual he was, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Makenna Howard of Winston, Maddox Howard and Madison Howard both of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Jessica Howard of Whitesburg sister, Christy Howard-Reynolds and her husband Brian Reynolds of Alabama; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Highview Church in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
