Earl Swinhart

Mr. Earl Wayne Swinhart, age 80, of Villa Rica, passed away, Monday, November 7, 2016. He was born May 2, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA the son of the late Mr. Harper Preston Swinhart and the late Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Compton. Mr. Swinhart served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He loved photography, fishing, woodworking, and flying gliders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Caren Francis Swinhart; sisters, Kathy Shipman and Glenda Odom; infant great-granddaughter, Madelynn Grace Swanson.He is survived by his wife, Lucille Ellen Lusty Swinhart of Villa Rica; daughters, Cathy Swanson of Dallas, Cindy Swinhart of Waco; sister and brother-in-law, Mable and Ronald Feldman of Clarkesville, TN; four grandchildren, Jason and Misty Swanson of Villa Rica, Brad and Becca Pritchett of Villa Rica, Marlene Boatright of Temple, and Joel Dockery of Waco; ten great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Patterson, Damyain Pritchett, Taylor Smith, Wyatt Pritchett, Ethan Swanson, Tyler Boatright, Mason Boatright, Preston James Allen, Nathan Boatright and Olivia Dockery; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 11, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
