Mr. Earl Wayne Bridges, 64, of Kingston, Georgia passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born January 30, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Thomas Henry Horton and the late Mrs. Ruby Louise Waldrop Horton. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of the City of Gold CB Club where he served as president. His CB handle was “Temple Wildman”. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying the mountains. He was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Donie Morris Bridges of Kingston; daughters, Kim Lee of Douglasville, Honey Skinner of Lithia Springs, Penny Weddington of Cedartown, and Shannon Denise Bridges of Kingston; sons, Michael Wayne Bridges of Carrollton and William Wayne Bridges of Kingston; brothers, Ronald Bridges of Ormond Beach, FL, Gene Horton of Lawrenceville, Tommy Horton of Bremen, and Gregory Horton of Marietta; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Earnest Randolph and Rev. Eddie Allen officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM.
