Earline Jennie Fowler Downing

Mrs. Earline Jennie Fowler Downing, age 73, of Arnold Drive, Austell, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Joel Fowler and the late Mrs. Henritta Malsby Fowler. She retired from INMARK Inc. as a secretary, a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Mableton, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to everyone. Earline’s most memorable pastime was collecting FROGS, which means Fully Rely On God. Mrs. Downing was preceded in death by her husband Louis D.(Jerry) Downing and her twin brother Crawford Julius Fowler. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Tommy Wynn of Douglas; her sons and daughter-in-law, Joel and Margaret Downing of Douglasville, Sam and Angie Downing of Douglasville Ronny Downing of Kennesaw, Donny Downing, Jr. of Acworth; eight grandchildren, Michael Alexander, Brad Wynn, Katy Wynn, Lea Downing, Austin, Joey, Payton, and Toby; and one great grandchild, Logan, sister and brother-in-law JoeAnn and Buck Toney of Lawrenceville. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Celebrant Glenn Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Tuesday, July 6, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
