Earnest Holder

Mr. Earnest L. Holder, age 85, of Temple, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013. He was born February 13, 1928 in New Market, AL the son of the late Mr. William Holder and the late Mrs. Georgia Lela Hillis Holder. He retired from the state of Georgia Department of Transportation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his, grandson, Joshua Andrew Radcliff; brothers, Luther Holder and James Holder; sisters, Flossie Holder, Modene Holder and Louise White.He is survived by his wife, Hassie Holder of Temple; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Larry Radcliff of Bremen, Margie and Ron Gerstman of Temple, Carrie Jo and Bobby Kendrick of Ellijay; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Ruth Holder of Temple; sister, Bertha Nell Baker of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Melanie and Bobby Hall, Lori and Keith Brumbelow, Ricky Holder, Maria and Howard Davis, Travis Gerstman, Russell and Angie Gerstman, Robbie and Amber South, Janice and Michael George; sixteen great grandchildren, Logan Hall and Mason Hall, Katlyn, Amberly, and Page Brumbelow, Chelsea McDonald, Kaylin Holder and William Holder, Jeremy Davis and Sarah Davis, Casey Waid and Hunter Gerstman, Toma South, Nathan South, Brooke Curtis and Autumn George; three great- great grandchildren, Bryson Miller, Dawson Hawkins and Kaidance Allen. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. A. M. Ballenger officiating with eulogy by Rev. Kent Bankston.
