Mrs. Earnestine Lee Pope Houde, age 65, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at her residence in Carrollton. She was born December 1, 1945 in Marietta the daughter of the late Mr. Earnest L. Pope and the late Mrs. Then Buck Shaw Pope. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Armand James Houde; son, Randy Louis Pope; brothers, John David Pope and Curtis Eugene Pope; one sister, Ann Arnold. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Tina Elizabeth Houde of Carrollton, Nancy Lee and Ralph T. Mauldin of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Armand James and Shawnte Houde, Jr. of Trego, WI; sisters, Marie Etheridge of Villa Rica, Bernice Sumner of Atlanta, Lorene Cunningham of Temple; brother, Douglas Pope of Flint, MI; ten grandchildren, Preston Scott Sears, Jr., Joseph Prescott Sears, Cynthia Lynn Dollar, Courtney Nicole Mauldin, Hunter Houde, Rebecca Houde, DaShawn Houde, John Houde, Daniel Houde, Gracelyn Houde. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Saturday, May 27, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
