Mrs. Edna Hogan Harris, age 95, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her home. She was born September 6, 1917 in College Park, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Benjamin F. Hogan and the late Mrs. Katie Mae Smith Hogan. She married Milton P. Harris on June 14, 1941 in Atlanta. She was a homemaker and devoted to her family. She was a lifelong member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton P. Harris; son, Dennis Michael âMikeâ Harris; and brother, Jack F. Hogan and Rowland M. Hogan. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Frank Jordan of Douglasville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Traci and Joe Steward of Carrollton, Christopher Harris of Stockbridge, and Lindsay and Marty Moore of McDonough; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Milton Ker officiating.
