Edna Louella McCleary

Mrs. Edna Louella “Nanny” Williams McCleary, 82, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was born April 17, 1933 in Dallas, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Mosie Thomas Williams and the late Mrs. Nonnie Lumar Louella Defnall Williams. She retired as a seamstress and was of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. She enjoyed making quilts. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was lovingly called “Nanny” by her loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Joanne McCleary; sister, Ruth Adams; and brothers, Larry Williams, Lovey Williams, and Jerry Williams. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Neal McCleary, Sr. of Lithia Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Johnny Pope; and Tammie and James Burge; four sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Deborah Priest, Bobby “Frank” McCleary, Thomas Neal (Benny) and Debbie McCleary, Bobby Neal Jr. “Bubba” and Cathy McCleary; one sister, Dorothy Priest; one brother, Donald Williams; eighteen grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Mark Isley officiating.
