Mrs. Edna Young Schmidt, 68, of White Rose Lane; Temple, Georgia passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Schmidt was born August 26, 1939 in Powder Springs, Georgia; the daughter of the late James Noah Young and the late Alma Wallace Young. Mrs. Schmidt was of the Baptist faith, and was retired from Teamsters Local 528. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Robert Schmidt, a decorated war hero who passed away on October 31, 2007; and her brother, Billy Young; Survivors include sons and daughter in-laws, Ronnie and Christine Adams of McDonough, Barry and Teresa Adams of McDonough, and Steve and Connie Adams of Temple; sisters and brother in-laws, Mae Davis, Gene and Frances Milton, and Charles and Jane Pate; eight grandchildren, Beth and Austin Coleman, Barry Adams, Jr., Ronnie Jr. and Shannda Adams, Amanda Adams, Stephen Adams Jr., and David Adams; one great grandchild, Jackson Scott Coleman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
