Mr. Edward E. Henry, 87, of Winston, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. A native of Douglasville, he was born October 19, 1927, the son of the late Mr. John Willie Henry and the late Mrs. Rinnie Bryant Henry. He married the love of his life, Margaret Washington, on May 26, 1956 in Dallas. He retired from Owens Corning where he worked as a mechanic. He was a member of Tabernacle of Faith in Douglasville. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Henry, Carol Henry, Lula Mae Queen, and Maggie Landmon; and brothers, Thaddeus âPatâ Henry, Jack Henry, and Preston Henry. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Washington Henry of Winston; four daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Michael Hambrick of Eastman, Joyce and Toby Stephens of Roanoke, AL, Dianne and Bob Hammond of Villa Rica, and Janice and Tim Stephens of Villa Rica ; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Leigh Ann Reynolds of Carrollton; sisters, Jeannette Benton of McDonough, Katie Rayburn of Carrollton, Patsy Daniel of Ranburne, AL, Martha Jordan of Bremen, and Patricia Henry of Bremen; brothers, Harold Henry of Austell and Donald Henry of Douglasville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Jerris Flowers officiating and Mrs. Janice Stephens providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: Scott Hall, Mark Hall, Willis Lynn, Larry Cothran, Gardener Smith, Dylan Abernathy, Dusty Crile, and Tyler Crowe.
