Mr. Edward Howard DeLoriea, age 67, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Brian Center in Austell, Georgia, after a long illness. He died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. He loved spaghetti. He loved spending time with family and friends, and detailing cars and admiring cars. Everyone was a friend. Eddie loved others. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He often traveled top spend quality time with his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, children and grandchildren. Having Uncle Eddie or Pappa Eddie visit was always loved and anticipated. The jokes, laughter and quick witted humor were always elevated when around family. When we think about Eddie, we all smile. He was born April 25, 1940, Saratoga Springs, New York.. He was the son of the late Jacob DeLoriea and the late Helen Elizabeth Burke DeLoriea. Mr. DeLoriea was a truck driver and a limo driver. In addition to his parents, two sisters; Dorthy Gossett, Mary Lou Cowles, four brothers, Keneth DeLoriea, Donald DeLoriea, Joseph DeLoriea and Jerry DeLoriea. Preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Janet Curley DeLoriea of Douglasville. One daughter and son in-law, Lisa and Luis Arango of Albany, New York. Three sons and daughters in-laws, Ricci and Kim DeLoriea of Virginia, Andrew and Arlynne DeLoriea of South Glen Falls, New York, and William Reed Jr. and Elaine Cranford of Douglasville. Two sisters Alberta Mathis of Schuylerville, New York and Betty Peterson of Gansevoort, New York. One Brother, Harold DeLoriea of Gansevoort, New York. Eleven Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Gandchild., several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted on Monday August 27, 2007 at 6:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Jerry Adair officiating.
