Mr. Edward Milton French, III, age 59, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. He was born May 18, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Mr. Edward Milton French, Jr. and Mrs. Betty Ann Baird French. Mr. French was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a manager in the lumber supply industry, ventured in self-employment and worked for H & R Block for six years. Mr. French was a member of the Woodworking Association and the National Clock Collectors Association. He was of the Christian faith and had been a member of the Water of Life Christian Ministry for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Phyllis Perkins French of Douglasville; his daughters and son-in-law, Heather Anne French of Douglasville and Holly Charis French Smith and her husband, Jay Smith of Douglasville; his mother, Mrs. Betty Ann Baird French of Marietta; his sister and brother-in-law, Janis and Russell McMahan of Canton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Ikey Watson officiating.
