Mr. Edward E. Page, Sr ,85 of Lakeville, MA formally of Dallas, GA passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born Jan. 25, 1928 in Carteret, NJ the son of the late Kenneth Reginald Page and the late Mrs. Gladys Willoughby Page. He was a hard worker and devoted to providing for his family. He worked as a truck driver for over 30 years with the Holmes Transportation and he loved his job, receiving numerous compliments from both his employer and his customers. He loved old cars and he loved going to old car shows and telling his boys all about the different models and which ones he had actually driven. He also love his yard, he and his wife spent most of their retirement years re-designing their yard such as a planter or stone walkway. He loved flowers, especially tulips, and their always seemed to be something flowering when you visited them. He was very organized and always keep his yard and work bench neat and orderly. His tools on his work bench were hung in order of size and type and everything hand a place. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Larkin Page, son, Edward E. Page, Jr. sister, Elizabeth A. Page, and 2 brothers, George M. Page and Robert G. Page. Survivors include 2 sons, Williams A. Page of Lakeville, MA and James R. Page of Huntsville, AL, brother, Harold H. Page, grandchildren, Brian R. Page, Eric M. Page and Edward E. Page, III, three nieces and 2 nephews also survive. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. Military honors will be under the directions of Georgia National Guard Honor Guard.
