Edward Allen Reynolds

Edward Allen Reynolds, 82, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1943, the son of the late Alonza Allen Reynolds and Flarraw Mae Petty Reynolds.

Ed had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He loved good, old-fashioned country cooking, which often brought family and friends together around the dinner table. He enjoyed watching wrestling and Georgia Bulldog football. He was a true lover of the outdoors, whether it was a leisurely stroll or simply enjoying the fresh air, he cherished his time outside. In addition to these interests, he engaged his mind with word search puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Winnard Harold Reynolds and Junisus Millard Reynolds; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Rainwater, Erma Jean Reynolds and Ora Maxine Reynolds.

He is survived by Lula Virgina Shuemake; step-daughter, Teresa Ginnity of Buchanan; three step grandchildren; two great-step grandchildren; nephew Harold Reynolds of Atlanta; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Buchanan City Cemetery.

Edward Allen Reynolds leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. His gentle spirit and genuine affection for those he cared about will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
