Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Eisenmann, age 82, of Douglasville, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born on October 19, 1941 in Washington D.C. to the late Mr. Henry Thomas Barden, Jr. and the late Mrs. Marjorie Elizabeth Barden.
Elizabeth's radiant personality extended beyond her own self. She was firmly rooted in love and care for those around her, especially her adoring family. Although she possessed a spicy exterior, she had a heart overflowing with love for her loved ones. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. One of the greatest chapters of Elizabeth's life was the remarkable love story she shared with her late husband of 58 years. Their bond stood as a testament to enduring love and companionship. Together they weathered life's storms and cherished every moment of happiness they encountered. Their love story continues to serve as an inspiration for future generations. In addition to being an incredible spouse and mother. Elizabeth enjoyed embroidery, an art she loved dearly. Among Elizabeth's proudest accomplishments was earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N). This achievement showcased her commitment to providing care and support to those in need. While we mourn the loss of Elizabeth Ann Eisenmann, let us remember her as the vivacious individual she was—a woman of strength, resilience, and unwavering love. Her feisty spirit will forever remain etched in our memories. Elizabeth's imprint on this world will endure through the love she showered upon her family and the legacy she leaves behind.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Virgil Eisenmann; sister, Brenda Coffey.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Kelley of Villa Rica; son, Craig (Melissa) Eisenmann of Douglasville; sister, Melinda Pierce of Colonial Beach, VA; brothers, Arthur (Nancy) Barden of Colonial Beach, VA, Marshall (Donna) Barden of Colonial Beach, VA; grandchildren, Regan, Brent, Jordan, Emily, Beau; great grandchildren, Arianna, Luke and Theodore; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Greg Towler officiating. The interment will take place on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
