Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Ford, age 68, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. She was born July 11, 1955 in Atlanta. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Joshua Harrell, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lula Belle Newberry.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Harold Ford, Jr.; infant son, James Deason; sister, Helen Thompson; brother, Arthur Joshua Harrell Jr.; beloved fur baby Maggie.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda (Mark) Evans, of Cedartown; sisters, Stella Smallwood of Wrightsville, Rita Collard of Harrison, Edna (Richard) Keen, FL; brothers, Wayne Harrell, Doug Harrell, both of Dallas; grandchildren, Patricia Daniels, Brittany (Scott) Marlow, Tiffani (Trevor) Collum; great grandchildren, Alex, Serenity, Faith, Destiny, Kayson, Jayden, Randall, and Christian.
Elizabeth was a remarkable woman known for her kind heart and unwavering devotion to her family. Born and raised in a small town, Elizabeth grew up with a deep appreciation for family values. She cherished the bonds she shared with her parents and siblings and brought that same sense of unity to her own family.
One of Elizabeth's greatest joys in life was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Elizabeth provided guidance, comfort, and an endless supply of patience to those fortunate enough to call her Mom or Nana. She had an undeniable passion for soap operas. Elizabeth shared an unbreakable bond with her loyal companion – Bear, her beloved dog.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn in Douglasville with Pastor Kirby Moore officiating. The interment will take place at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn.
