Ellie Reece

Mrs. Ellie Jo Tucker Reece, age 84, of Lithia Springs passed away July 3, 2011. She was born March 31, 1927 in Centre, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Gus Tucker, Sr. and the late Mrs. Bessie Nicholson Tucker. She was a homemaker and attended Legacy Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Reece. She is survived by her children, Julia Cotton of Lithia Springs, Rebecca Jan Poss of Talbot County, Denny Brashier of Lithia Springs, Terrie Reece of Douglasville; sisters, Thelma Odom of Centre, Alabama, Emma Bell of Center, Alabama, Wilma Maroney of Gadsden, Alabama; brothers, Robert Gus Tucker, Jr. of Titusville, Florida; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs with Rev. Ronnie Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
