Ms. Ellin Jenkins Allison, age 67, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Newton Medical Center. She was born November 26, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Ralph C. Jenkins and the late Mrs. Catherine Sosebee Jenkins. She was a member of the Lithia Springs United Methodist Church and retired as an attendance office clerk with the Douglas County School System after many years of service. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Tifney and her husband Chris and grandson, Trevor Dailey of Senoia ; stepdaughter, Angela Allison of California and her children, Tiffany Carnelli and Shelby Carnelli; former husband, Tommy Booth of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, R. Charles and Linda Jenkins of Morrow; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, 2189 Midway Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30135 with Rev. Wayne Sosebee and Rev. Tom Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ellin Allison may be made to the Salem Campground Foundation, Post Office Box 243, Conyers, Georgia 30012.
