Ellis Wayne Pierce

Ellis Wayne Pierce, 75, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1947.  He is the son of the late James Alton Pierce and Lorene Jewell Bailey of Winchester, Tennessee.

Mr. Pierce loved and his family and had a passion for training horses.  He worked as a truck driver for many years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jimmy” Alton Pierce Junior.

He is survived by his mother, Lorene Jewell Bailey of Winchester, Tennessee; daughter, Crystal Campbell of Silver Creek, Georgia; son, Shane Pierce of Lithia Springs, Georgia; grandchildren, Chelsea Campbell of Sandy Springs, Georgia and Brett Pierce of Lithia Springs, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. The funeral will begin at 2:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
