Elouise Ingram Weaver, 84, of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born on April 7, 1940, the daughter of the late Rufus Ray Ingram and the late Hazel B. Jones Ingram.
Elouise lived a simple and fulfilling life. There were many passions that brought her joy, but her family mattered most to her. Family was at the very heart of her existence, a source of unwavering support and happiness. Elouise's grandchildren held a special place in her heart; they were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her family-oriented nature not only created lasting memories but also instilled values of love in those around her.
In her daily life, Elouise found joy in the simplicity of her surroundings. She loved attending church, where her faith played a crucial role in her life. The act of yardwork brought her peace as Moreover, she delighted in the simple pleasure of visiting with friends and family on her front porch, where conversations lingered and laughter filled the air.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Weaver; children, Dianne Gelineau, Mike Weaver and Larry Weaver; brother, James Ingram; sister, Jo Weaver; step-father, George Colbert
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra (Henry) Swofford of Douglasville; daughters-in-law, Donna (Don Nix) Weaver of Douglasville, Lisa Weaver (David Wilson) of Franklin; son-in-law, Ron Gelineau; brother, C.A. Ingram of Massachusetts; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; plethora nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Douglas Chapel. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
Elouise's legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered as a loving grandmother, a devoted family member, and a kind, simple woman whose life was marked by genuine warmth and caring.
