Miss Emily Marie Eley, age 32, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. She was born November 28, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late David Paul Eley and Glenna Marie Marlow. Miss Eley was a graduate of Lithia Springs High School and attended Truitt-McConnell College in Cleveland. She worked as an accounting assistant at Desmet Ballestra North America Inc. of Marietta. Miss Eley loved all genre of music, traveling and new adventures – she lived life to its fullest. In addition to her father, Miss Eley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Janis Marlow, Nathan Marlow and David Eley, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Glenna Marie Marlow of Villa Rica; her brother, Jordan Lee Eley of Austell; her paternal grandmother, Doris Eley of Douglasville; aunts and uncles, Keitha and Craig Johnson of Atlanta, Scott and Darlene Marlow of Eatonton along with Dennis and Sherry Eley of Douglasville; her fiancé, Steven Lake of Powder Springs; and several cousins. The family will receive friends from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Villa Rica, Monday, November 8, 2021 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM.
