Rev. Emmett Savoy Sullivan, age 77, of Douglasville passed away Friday, July 8, 2011. He was born August 12, 1933 in Haralson County the son of the late Mr. Emmett Edward Sullivan and the late Mrs. Velma I. Miller Sullivan. He worked as a carpenter and Minister of the Gospel. He was a member of the Antioch Fellowship Holiness in Lithia Springs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Terry Sullivan, Ellis Sullivan, R.D. Cole, and four sisters, Elsie Franklin, Evelyn Ivey, Mary Bowen, and Marie Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Maxine Wadsworth Sullivan of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Sullivan of Douglasville, Shelba and Larry Cothran of Douglasville, Dianne and Keith Goodson of Douglasville; sons, Tony Sullivan of Douglasville, Ricky Sullivan of Temple, Samuel Sullivan of Douglasville; sisters, Inez Miller of Douglasville; brothers, Roy Sullivan of Heflin, AL, Ralph Sullivan of Panama City Beach, FL.; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jerris Flowers and Rev. John Mays officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Cemetery in Douglasville. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dan Callan, Shannon Goodson, Christopher Sullivan, Terry Cothran, Larry Cothran, Rev. Larry Argo, Neil Sullivan, and Terry Sullivan.
