Emmette Kendrick

Emmette Donald Kendrick, age 70, of Carrollton, Georgia formerly of Ty Ty, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Pine Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 17, 1942 in Tifton, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Emmette J. Kendrick and the late Mrs. Annie Pearle West Kendrick. He retired from United States Postal Service as a postman and was a member of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed his time spent selling at the flea market. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheri Windham. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ricky Cosby of Douglasville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Tina Kendrick of Winston, Rex and Mary Kendrick and Ramon and Carol Kendrick all of Douglasville; his former wife and the mother of his children, Amy Lorine Kendrick of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dollie and Travis Metts of Winston and Anne and Al Fritsch of Milford, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ty Ty, Georgia. Interment will follow at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery.
