Erma Corene Jones

Mrs. Erma Corene Jones, 95, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehab Center in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born April 21, 1912 in Douglas County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Mr. Jim Costly and the late Mrs. Lula Bartlet Costly. Mrs. Jones was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Cicero Jones, who died on December 25, 1988. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Dorene and Max Willis of Carrollton; and son and daughter in-law, Edward and Sarah Jones of Douglas County; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Friendship Baptist Church in Winston, Georgia with Rev. Darrell Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
