Ervin Albertson

Mr. Ervin Leon Albertson, age 93, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, formerly of Graymont, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. He was born September 9, 1920 in Pipestone, Minnesota the son of the late Mr. John Albertson and the late Mrs. Sophia Kraft Albertson. He worked as a blacksmith and was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Flanagan, Illinois. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Johanna Marie Smith Albertson. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William Ervin and Gloria Albertson of Lithia Springs, GA; sister, Frances Cartright of Hemphill, TX; one granddaughter, Kimberley A. Meyer; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Patrick Meyer and Sarah Elizabeth Meyer. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4-6 PM and on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the service time at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in Flanagan, IL. A Memorial Service will be conducted Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Funeral Home in Flanagan, Illinois. Inurnment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
