Ethel Marie Burleigh

Ethel Marie Mohr Burleigh Mrs. Ethel Marie Mohr Burleigh, age 98, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born February 13, 1913 in Marshall, Michigan the daughter of the late Mr. William Henry Mohr and the late Stella Myers Mohr. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Burleigh was a retired county clerk for Calhoun County, Michigan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by eleven siblings, one daughter, Sharon (Smith) Kennicott and one grandchild. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and John Matheson of Carrollton, Carol and Ron McCombs of Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. According to her wishes she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
