Eugene Fessler

Mr. Eugene Fessler, age 62, of Douglasville, passed away, Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was born November 2, 1959 in Jacksonville, NC the son of Mr. Walter E. Gerhart and Mrs. Louise Suzanne Rollman Gerhart. Mr. Fessler retired from the United States Army. He worked as a small engine repair mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his fiancée; Michelle Bishop; mother and stepfather, Louise and Walter E. Gerhart of Manheim, PA; daughters, Sabrina Ackerman and Lilith Bishop; son, Eric Seidel; sister, Julie Fern of Myerstown, PA; brother, Ed Fessler of Colerain Township, OH; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers donations should be made in Eugene's name to the Wounded Warrior Project. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. For the family and friends in Pennsylvania a service will take place at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
