Eugene "Gene" Liszewski

Mr. Eugene “Gene” Liszewski, age 68, of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. He was born February 24, 1947 in East Chicago, IN the son of the late Mr. Benjamin Stanley Liszewski and the late Mrs. Estelle Cochran Liszewski. He worked for First American Resources for many years. Mr. Liszewski loved to fish, watching wrestling, boating and traveling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Liszewski. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Liszewski of Carrollton; daughter, Laura Wilson of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Wendy Liszewski of Mt. Zion; six grandchildren, Ashlyn, Skyler, Kaitlyn, Maria, Kalup and Emily; seven nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Father Rafael Carballo officiating. Mr. Liszewski will be cremated following the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the family or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Georgia, 3715 Northside Parkway, Building 400, Suite 300, Atlanta, Georgia 30327.
