Eugene Harbin

Mr. Eugene Harbin, age 83, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019. He was born in Jackson County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Erastus Other Harbin and the late Mrs. Bessie Lee Miller Harbin. Mr. Harbin was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean Conflict. He loved working with wood and he loved animals. He was a special man and talented gardener with "a green thumb". Mr. Harbin was a loving husband, father and grand-father. Mr. Harbin is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Mrs. Sylvia Burnham Harbin of Lithia Springs; his children, Barry Eugene and Dawn Harbin of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and Terri Ann Harbin Meeks of Carrollton, Georgia; his sisters, Frances Morgan of Austell, Georgia and Joyce Vaccarro of Lithia Springs; his brothers, Leroy Harbin of Douglasville and Mike Harbin of Lithia Springs; three grandchildren, Ricky Garrison Cole Meeks, Haley A. Harbin and Christopher Anthony Cavender; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted with military honors, Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Reverend Timothy Burnham officiating.
