Eugene Nicholas Robish

Eugene N. Robish, 97, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September

15, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Audrey Schmidt Robish.

Born on December 15, 1928, Eugene was the son of the late John and Mary

(Parvensky) Robish. He grew up in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and attended

Phoenixville Area High School and Alliance College. His strong Byzantine faith was an

important part of his life and remained a source of strength and guidance throughout the

years.

Eugene proudly served his country during the Korean War. Following his military

service, he had a long and dedicated career as a machinist at Danco’s and Firestone.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who found great

joy in his family and in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid gardener, a skilled

woodworker, and a loyal Philadelphia sports fan who enjoyed cheering on his favorite

teams. He took pride in creating things with his hands and found happiness in spending

time with the people he loved. His kindness, creativity, and devotion to his family will be

remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Glowacki and

Olga Moffa.

He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey, and his five children: Monica Nesspor (Rick),

Marcia Christie, Marjorie Cooke (Earl), Jeannie Eleftherion (Peter), and John Robish.

He also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Daniel, Jennifer, Dennis, Brynna, Earl, Alyssa,

Andrew, Caleigh, Mary Cate, and Nicholas, and six great-grandchildren: Wyatt,

Brayden, Micah, Colby, Emmaline, and Sloane.

Eugene’s life was one of service, love, family, and craftsmanship. He will be deeply

missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends, and his memory will

continue to live on through the generations of his family.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of the Child

Jesus in Douglasville, GA, on October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Mass at St. Michael’s in Mont Clare, PA, and burial at Washington Crossing National

Cemetery in Newtown, PA, will follow later in the month.
