Eva Creech

Eva Creech, 62, of Douglasville, passed away on July 12, 2024. She was born in Atlanta, on February 27, 1962, the daughter of the late Ovis and Wavelyn Smith.

Eva's love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her warm and caring nature touched the lives of all those around her. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with loved ones. As a mother and grandmother, she poured her heart and soul creating lasting memories with her family. In addition to her dedication to her family, Eva had a range of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She had a passion for make-up. Birdwatching was another favorite pastime of hers, allowing her to connect with the peaceful serenity of nature. However, above all else, Eva's love for her dog Dehlia knew no bounds. The bond they shared was truly special, bringing light and laughter into Eva's life every day.

Eva Creech will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her children, grandchildren, and extended relatives. While she may no longer be physically present, the love and memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Nixon; niece, Jessica Flint, and her twin brother, Wavelyn Smith, Jr and her brother Phillip Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Creech to whom she was married to for over two decades; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew (Christina) Parrott and Amy (Dean) Mabry; grandchildren, Aria, Isabella, and Gabriel; niece Jenny (Zeke) Baker; grand-nephews, Ethan and Ben; nephews, Paul (Kim) Flint; grand-nieces, Katherine and Kayla; sister-in-law, Judy Creech and her daughter, Kali Raggleman several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the Villa Rica Chapel at Jones-Wynn with Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Matthew Parrott, Troy Crowell, Ethan Baker, Zeke Baker, Dean Mabry and Paul Flint
