Eva Cochran Harris, 92, a native Atlantan, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Tranquility at Cobb Hospital. âNannyâ was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was born in Atlanta and graduated from West Fulton High School. Eva was a descendant of the Seagraves family who have been natives of Atlanta for over 150 years. She was married to the late Fort Marshall (F.M.) Harris, where they lived in Mableton and Douglas County for over 50 years. Preceded in death by husband F.M. Harris, she is survived by daughter Phyllis Ann Dillard of Douglasville, son Joel (Joe) Harris of Cumming, grandsons Dunie Dillard of Douglasville and Robert Harris of Cumming, granddaughters Debbie Dillard of Douglasville and Bonnie Harris of Cumming, great-grandsons Chris Rogers, Kyle Rogers, and Bailey Dillard of Douglasville, great-granddaughter Breana Dillard of Jacksonville, AL, and great-great-grandsons Evan Rogers and Hayden Rogers of Douglasville. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm Saturday, September 13 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.Funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday, September 14 at the funeral home.
