Evelyn Hubbard

Mrs. Evelyn Vaughn Hubbard, age 91, of Douglasville, passed away, Sunday, June 07, 2015. She was born March 24, 1924 in Talladega, AL the daughter of the late Mr. Andrew Vaughn and the late Mrs. Julia White Vaughn. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Hubbard enjoyed cooking, gardening, her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George “Burton” Hubbard; son, Randy Hubbard; one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Paula Fricton of Alpharetta, Karen and Frank Duffy of Woodstock; son and daughter-in-law, George Burton Hubbard, Jr. and wife Terri Hubbard of Douglasville; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM (Eastern) from Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery, Talladega, AL. Interment will follow in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.
