Evelyn Elaine Smallwood

Mrs. Evelyn Elaine Smallwood, age 76, of Douglasville, passed away on August 19, 2024. She was born February 1, 1948 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Robert Jordan and the late Mrs. Melba Jordan.

Evelyn had an unwavering love for her family, giving her time and energy to create lasting memories with her loved ones. Evelyn found great joy in watching television, particularly old game shows such as Family Feud. She also had a special love for Elvis Presley. Furthermore, Evelyn had a passionate appreciation for food, especially hibachi.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jerald Eugene Smallwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Cruz of Douglasville; son Jerry (Tracy) Smallwood of Douglasville; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 nieces also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM.
